My name is Brittany, and I am a mother of 3 beautiful children. I have been dealing with POTS(Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome) since grade school. Over the last year the symptoms of that have increased, along with new symptoms such as severe abdominal and pelvic pain and so much more. All of which has impacted my daily life to an extreme( even showering on my own) I never anticipated at 26 years old. As someone who tries to never ask for help, it has gotten so bad I have become desperate for help in any aspects it can be given.

We have done a colonoscopy, exploratory abdominal laparoscopic surgery(which showed a benign mass), cardiology, neurology. I have one more test coming up and will see gastrologist again. But so far the consensus is that I am going to require a specialist. The ones in my state do not accept my insurance. If these next two appointments do not give us an answer, they want to send me to university. (Cleveland Clinic or Mayo Clinic)

My husband is the sole working person, so I am reaching out for help to prepare to be sent out of state. I am looking into all potential programs to help in aspect of that journey. However, with the three children in school and my husband working so hard to keep us afloat. We cannot afford for him to miss work for this journey especially not knowing how long this may be. The surgery in June has put us in a hole we are still trying to come out.
