In January, my daughter Brittany was rushed to the hospital because her blood pressure was 220/160.

While in the hospital, they diagnosed her with stage 4 kidney disease, which caused her to have hypertension and made her heart enlarged.

She has done everything in her power to help her kidneys by changing her diet, staying active, and taking her medications, but her kidneys aren’t improving.

She is on the tail end of stage 4 and reaching stage 5. Her doctor is advising dialysis for the next three years, but before we go that route, she would like to try a naturopathic treatment. She went in to see the naturopathic doctor, and they would like to start a weekly therapy plan for acupuncture, then proceed with ozone therapy. This is a medicated treatment by controlled toxicity produced by low concentrations of O3, which enhance the cell’s supply of antioxidant properties without causing any further damage. The only thing is they don’t take insurance, and each appointment is very expensive.

IGAN is a chronic disease, which is why we would like to try every possible route before putting her on dialysis for the next three years.
