Help Brittany Fight for Her Life – Treatment & Transplant

Donation protected
We are friends and colleagues of Brittany, proud to work alongside her in the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Brittany has dedicated her entire life to helping others — first as a nurse, and now as a committed RCMP officer. She is the person who shows up for others with strength, compassion, and an unwavering sense of duty.

Now, she needs us to show up for her.

In 2021, Brittany was diagnosed with cervical cancer. She underwent a partial hysterectomy and fought through treatment with incredible courage — and she beat it. Her resilience inspired everyone around her.

December 17, 2024, Brittany was diagnosed in Canada with neuroendocrine cancer, Stage 4, and was offered only palliative care. Refusing to give up, Brittany continued researching and advocating for herself. She took it upon herself to access the Mayo Clinic in the United States, where they were able to confirm that her diagnosis was Stage 4 Grade 3 tumor - a rare and aggressive form of cancer.

Due to the complexity and rarity of her case, most of the advanced treatments she needs are not available or accessible in Canada. The Mayo Clinic offers the best — and in many ways, the only — path forward: specialized care that could shrink her tumors and make her eligible for a life-prolonging liver transplant.

Tragically, none of this treatment is covered by Canadian healthcare or private insurance. The costs are staggering — and entirely out-of-pocket.

Through her recent chemotherapy treatments, the results have been hopeful: her most recent CT scan shows her tumour has shrunk from 10 cm to 7.4 cm! This progress is life-changing and gives us all hope. The treatment we are fundraising for is over $100,000, and Brittany will need multiple additional treatments to get her to where she needs to be.

Despite everything, Brittany remains one of the most positive, upbeat, and determined people we know. She is taking on this diagnosis the same way she has approached every challenge in her life — with strength, optimism, and a quiet determination to overcome.

We’re raising funds to help Brittany continue this critical, life-prolonging care. Every donation will go directly toward her medical expenses, giving her a real chance at more time, more hope, and ultimately, a chance at life.

Brittany has dedicated her life to protecting and serving others. She’s brave, selfless, and full of fight — but she shouldn’t have to face this battle alone.

Please stand with her. Share her story. Donate if you can. Help give Brittany the chance she has fought so hard to find.

With deep thanks,
