Help Brittany Devlin Heal After Tragic Accident
Donation protected

This is Brittany Devlin. Brittany was involved in a very serious car accident early Friday morning, October 11, 2024. She was the passenger of the car and had her friend with her in the driver's seat. Unfortunately, there was a woman suspected of murder who was involved in a high-speed chase involving Shreveport, LA police and wrecked directly into them while they were passing through the intersection with a green light. Apparently, the criminal suspect driver never even slowed down, and the crash was very violent. Unfortunately, Brittany's life will never be the same, but she is fighting with all of her being. She has suffered a broken neck, broken limbs, and a bevy of other traumatic injuries, not to mention the emotional turmoil and instability that she is currently undergoing. Brittany really needs your help!
Brittany is a devoted single mom to two young children and had most recently been a vocational student studying medical records, coding, and medical terminology. In short, the future seemed very bright for Brittany! However, she is now relegated to a hospital bed awaiting the many surgeries that it will take for her to fully heal. She was given only two options for her broken neck injury:
1) One alternative is to fuse her spine and skull together permanently, thus making her neck also immobilized permanently.
2) The second alternative is for her to undergo the installation of a "halo" for an extended period of time (6-12 weeks minimum if it is successful). A "halo" is a medical device that immobilizes the neck and upper spine to treat injuries or deformities, but it is very uncomfortable and difficult to manage.
Brittany will also be undergoing surgery to repair her broken arm in the very near future. After all of the surgeries are done, Brittany will have to undergo necessary physical therapy as she will need to learn a new way of life, take care of her personal needs, and learn how to take care of her children. All of this medical treatment, physical therapy, and upcoming emotional (psychological) support will be very expensive and is much more than this young mother can afford. The driver was uninsured (of course), and Brittany has little in the way of savings. She was struggling before this unnecessary event, and now her burden is more than she can handle alone.
As we all know, it is financially tough these days for regular working people, and with all the medical expenses, anything would help. Please consider donating to this good cause as it will help to increase the quality of life for this innocent victim and she really has nowhere else to turn. Brittany thanks you for all of your help!
