Our family recently experienced the unexpected loss of my sister, Bettyjo, leaving her 2 kids, Brittany and Erick without their mother far too soon. This tragedy has turned their world upside down. In the midst of their grief, they are now faced with the overwhelming responsibility of arranging a proper funeral to lay their mom to rest with dignity and peace. Brittany and Erick are doing their best to stay strong, but the financial burden of funeral costs has become something they simply cannot manage on their own. No one prepares to lose a parent like this, especially not without warning. We are asking for help to give Bettyjo a respectful farewell and to ease even a small part of the weight these two young people are carrying.
