Hi, my name is Brittany, and I’m a single mom doing my best to keep a stable home for me, my son Callahan, and our pup, Freddy.

This month has been unexpectedly difficult. I’ve been applying for jobs, taking on temporary work, and reaching out to various assistance programs, but progress has been slow. Despite all my efforts, we’re now at risk of falling behind on rent and essential bills.

Callahan still manages to be his pouty-but-goofy self — moments like that remind me why keeping our home matters so much. Freddy and I do our best to stay positive, even when things feel overwhelming. Our little place is filled with memories, laughter, and traditions we don’t want to lose, especially as Christmas approaches. It’s hard to imagine the holidays without a home to celebrate in.
