Help Brittany Access Mobility and Freedom

I am writing to you with a heavy heart as I find myself in a challenging situation regarding my mobility and the daily pain I experience due to my back condition.

For several years, I have been suffering from Spina bifida of the L5 and L4 and have a chronic limp because of my hips and my kneecaps not being in the correct place even after multiple surgeries. This not only limits my mobility but also affects my overall quality of life, like making the bed and making dinner. I was told about a year ago that my condition would put me in a wheelchair and that I would need it very soon. The chronic pain I endure each day makes even the simplest tasks incredibly difficult and has significantly hindered my ability to participate in activities that are essential for my emotional and mental well-being.

Recently, I consulted with my healthcare provider, who recommended a modified wheelchair to meet my specific needs. Unfortunately, I discovered that my insurance will only cover half of the cost. Given the severity of my condition and the fact that the modified wheelchair is crucial for my independence, I find myself in need of support to cover the remaining expenses.

I am reaching out to my community and loved ones to help me raise the necessary funds to purchase this wheelchair. With it, I hope to regain a measure of independence, allowing me to run errands, attend appointments, and engage in social activities that have become increasingly challenging without adequate mobility.

The total cost for the modified wheelchair is $5,000, which means I need to raise $4,000 to meet the remaining balance I found out insurance paid 1,000 twords 5,000 so I owe 4,000. Your support, whether through a donation or sharing my story with others who may be able to help, would mean the world to me.
