Hi everyone,
My name is Britta J. Mayo and I just had my batteries replaced, the 5th major surgery in 5.5 years. I first had DBS (deep brain stimulators) put in bilaterally and then I had to get two batteries put in my chest. A year later, I rolled my car in the canyon resulting in a knee replacement and a hip replacement. When I had the DBS batteries put in, they said that the batteries would last between 5-7 years. They lasted 5.5 years. Yes, the surgery was covered by Medicaid, but I can't work now for another few months, and I haven't worked since before Christmas. I'm asking for help with bills till I can start work again. I understand the state of the economy and most everyone needs a hand up right now. If you can help, thank you. If all you can do is repost this, thank you.
Peace be to you and God bless.
