Help Britt Recover From Cancer Treatment

Since the day I met Britt I knew I had a friend for life. She’s my birthday twin, my bandmate, my hiking and fishing and mushroom hunting partner. She has run countless punk shows, played in tons of bands and contributed to the Buffalo punk scene by starting and running Vaggie Fest/Bitch Fest for years. She’s also one of the strongest and most kind people I know. Its clear that she loves her community and right now, she needs our love and support.

For the last year Britt’s been through relentless health struggles. She has been fighting Crohn’s disease and has recently been diagnosed with cancer. She will undergo dual surgeries to remove the tumor and to fix some damage to her intestine due to Crohn’s. We’re asking you to spread this plea for financial support to all your buds to see if we can drum up some financial relief for her and her wife Sarah in these hard times. Britt will be out of work for several months while recovering and we all know that disability pay is terrible. She has already racked up about $3K in medical debt even before the surgery, and will need some extra support post surgery while she is out of work.
