This is my amazing fiance Britni. Those people who know her, can easily tell how fun, loving, kind, funny and unique she is. But one of her greatest characteristics is her strength. She has gone through more in her short life than any one person expects in an entire lifetime, and yet it has not taken her smile or robbed her of her fight. She just keeps going with a smile on her lips and in her eyes, and a horrible dad joke or pun on the lips. That is what drew me to her, and one of the many reasons I fell in love with her.
Britni suffers from a lot of intertwined medical issues. She was diagnosed with Lupus when she was 21. In December of 2018, she suffered a perforated colon due to a blood clot and spent many weeks in the hospital. In May of 2019 we got engaged, and we're preparing to get married in November. We were excitedly preparing to begin our married life, when on October 10th, just a few weeks away from our marriage, she started feeling a horrible, familiar pain, and sure enough, she suffered yet another blood clot induced perforated colon. Due to how serious it was, and various complications, she spent the next 13 weeks in the hospital, most of that time in the ICU.
She is currently in a rehab facility, working hard to get out and start our lives together. As we begin this new life, we are faced with some financial challenges. As she has been on disability, her income is quite reduced and obviously bills like car payments, rent, and medical bills are not, and so, even though neither of us like asking for help, we have seen we don't have many other options. Would you be willing to help out this amazing gal? Any amount is helpful and would be a blessing.
