This picture says it all…anyone who knows her is well aware that Britney is the most generous kind of person. While her own property continued to sink deeper under the waters, she rescued the remaining few living chickens for her neighbor. She will help anyone at any time. All of my life, she has been there to support our family during times of need. Now, she is the one with needs.
Britney’s property was devastated by the flooding in Nashville. In addition to losing all the feed for her animals (except a single bale of hay), her saddles and some tack floated away. One of her horses had to be hauled away by a kind stranger, while the other horse remains on her property in deep water. Her basement is flooded, and the rental home on her property is a complete loss. Despite having flood insurance, she is facing $20K in deductibles, her barn and fence damage is not included in coverage, and all personal items/feed are up to her to replace. This currently seems insurmountable to my sister. It is devastating.
If Britney has ever touched your life, please do what you can to touch hers during the difficult recovery and rebuild she is facing. If you have never met her, please consider helping my sister. She would never ask for a thing, but I asked her permission to set this up for her…giving us the opportunity to fill her love bucket, encourage her and help her remain hopeful in the days ahead…with the many bills to come.
Britney is incredibly thankful for the encouraging messages and offerings of prayer. Together, we can do more...she needs much more than the goal I've currently set, but I wanted a place to start! Thank you for considering helping one of the most giving of humans!
