Help Bristol's Journey to Recovery
Donation protected
Hey there, recently my oldest daughter, Bristol, has developed a large tumor called Ameloblastoma in her jaw that requires her to undergo multiple surgeries to have it removed. In order to do this and for the chances of it not coming back to be higher, she will have to have her bottom teeth removed on one side along with part of her jaw. They will be replacing the part of her jaw with part of her hip bone and donated bone marrow, and holding it together with a plate. She will have nerve damage on that side of her face, leaving her numb. She will have years of surgery ahead of her as she gets older and her jaw develops and will later have to wear implants as her teeth may not grow back on a good portion.
We will have to spend multiple nights in hotel rooms plus travel to Boston Children's Hospital multiple times within the next few months. This puts me out of work, unable to afford to commute back and forth along with expenses for our stay. I'm reaching out for help so that I can get my daughter back and forth to her appointments, and as a single mom of 2, times are hard right now! Anything truly helps, even if it is just a share!
