Help Bristol's Earthcake survive the next months

To all of our lovely Customers,
We have started experiencing a huge loss in trade due to Covid-19 as most of our bookings including weddings, birthday cake orders and afternoon teas are getting cancelled for the next couple of months. At the same time, two of our most important sources of income (afternoon tea bookings and cake orders) have completely stopped since last week, mid March.
Unfortunately we still need to pay our recently increased (!) shop rent/bills for Earthcake's premises and staff members wage, not to mention two of our business loans which helped us establish Earthcake back in 2016.
We do have some emergency savings but we're afraid it won't be enough to survive. We have never asked for any help before. We've been making cakes since 2016 for the local community and beyond. We feel really sad and desperate to do this fundraising and we know we should be using our savings to keep our shop alive, but in such difficult times this money raising campaign is our very last resort.
We're not asking money for nothing. Please have a look on rewards you can get by helping your local independent cake shop. (please see rewards below) The cafe will remain open as usual unless directed otherwise by official government policy, but without the orders/bookings the turnover won't be enough to cover rent, bills and staff wages.
