My sister Yadira was the heart of our family—a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and the oldest of our siblings. She was fun, loving, strong, and always supportive, bringing joy and comfort to everyone around her. Losing her to cancer on May 4th has left a deep void in our lives, and we want to honor her memory in the way she wished.
Yadira’s final request was to be laid to rest in Mexico, the place where she was born and where her story began. Fulfilling this wish means facing additional expenses for repatriation and burial services, on top of the usual funeral costs. My nephew is doing his best to arrange everything, but we need help to make this possible.
We are reaching out to our community, friends, and anyone who feels moved by Yadira’s story. Any support you can offer will help us give her the farewell she deserves and bring her home one last time. Thank you for your kindness and generosity during this difficult time.
