GoFunding is requested to bring to life WINGLESS, an animated film free of the hate and murder that so dominate today's television and big screen. WINGLESS is a film a mother can take her youngest children to see without worry, full of toe-tapping tunes, excitement, and a most unexpected ending!

A colony of bees living in a magical forest finds its home suddenly destroyed by a devastating storm and what is worse, a storm that has also rendered it mysteriously WINGLESS.

A bee from a distant colony caught up in the very same storm is cast to the ground of the forest, where he holes up in the hollow of a log until morning. When he awakens to the moans and groans of the now-homeless, now-wingless colony, he goes to investigate, shocked at what he finds. The action begins!

Illustrations are the first step. Many are already in hand, including the one depicting the first encounter between the WINGLESS colony and Wing Commander Scout. About ten additional illustrations are needed to complete the story. Phase 2 funding will support the creation of the screenplay, which is essential for presenting the story to prospective producers. The plan is to share the story chapter by chapter with GoFunders, using existing illustrations as an incentive and to retain interest and support.
