Help Bring Whitewater Legends to the Hall of Fame!
Goal: Support travel and lodging for the 2025 IWHoF Inductees to attend their induction ceremony at the Canadian Canoe Museum on May 2, 2026.
Each year, the International Whitewater Hall of Fame (IWHoF) honors individuals who have shaped the world of paddlesports through passion, perseverance, and purpose. The Class of 2025 includes five extraordinary honorees from around the globe—trailblazers, champions, and advocates who have dedicated their lives to rivers, community, and conservation.
This year’s inductees include:
• Roger Parsons (Canada) – A pioneer who built the foundation of whitewater sport in Canada.
• Dana Chladek (USA) – Olympic medalist and coach who has inspired generations of paddlers.
• Danielle Woodward (Australia) – The first Australian woman to medal in Olympic canoe/kayak slalom.
• Hugh Canard (New Zealand) – A lifelong advocate for river access and environmental stewardship.
• George Wendt (USA, posthumous) – A visionary outfitter who turned river trips into a movement for conservation.
Why We Need Your Help
While the honor is great, travel costs can be a barrier—especially for international honorees and their families. Your donation will help cover:
• Airfare and ground transportation
• Lodging near the Canadian Canoe Museum
• Meals and event-related expenses
• Support for family members or representatives of posthumous honorees
Let’s Celebrate Their Legacy
These individuals have given so much to the paddling world. Let’s give back by ensuring they can be celebrated in person, surrounded by the community they’ve inspired.
Every dollar helps. Please donate and share this campaign with fellow river lovers, paddlers, and advocates.
Donate today and help us honor the Class of 2025 the way they deserve—together, on the banks of a river, with gratitude and joy.
Thank you for your support!
