We are heartbroken to share the recent passing of our beloved friend and colleague, Vitor Hugo de Lima. Vitor, who lived and worked in Ireland, was known for his kindness, warmth, and his amazing knowledgable skills as a brewer. Tragically, he struggled with mental health challenges, and his journey was cut short, leaving his family and friends mourning a profound loss.

Vitor's family, currently in Brazil, wishes to honor his memory by bringing him home. They are working with the Brazilian embassy to arrange his cremation in Ireland and repatriation of his ashes to Brazil. However, the associated costs, compounded by the currency difference between the Brazilian real and the euro, have become a financial burden that they cannot bear alone.

This GoFundMe is set up to help Vitor’s family cover the expenses of his funeral, cremation, and the journey to bring his ashes back to Brazil, where he can be laid to rest among loved ones.
