Help Bring Vicky Home for a Final Farewell

Donation protected

Update: (05/04/24)I want to sincerely thank everyone who came together in this saddening time to wrap their arms around myself and all of the family. Today we had a beautiful service for Vicki and I was honored to witness so many friends and family who were right there by her side as we celebrated the beautiful intelligent funny smart & kind person… the Vicki we all knew and loved so much. I am at peace knowing that she wasn’t forgotten or alone and instead celebrated and loved. -Alicia

As many of you may know we recently found out that Vicky has tragically passed at a young age after a long battle with addiction. While addiction may have been what ultimately caused us to lose her there was so much more to Vicky than addiction. We all know the smiley, bubbly, funny and outspoken individual she was that left a stamp on our hearts and saddened us to see suffering for quite some time. I grew up with Vicky being my cousin by blood but my sister by choice. We experienced life together, love together & fought our battles with addiction at times side by side. I think we all always hoped and prayed that one day the Vicky we once knew would make it back to us but she was always still there, deep down inside. She tried many times to overcome her fight but ultimately the pain was just to much inside for her to bare and she chose to cope in her own way. Let us remember her for the silly, smiley, beautiful woman she truly was. The person we remember in our hearts when we think of her. I know for quite some time now she has been on her own and I can’t think of a better ending to her story then knowing that we all (both family and friends) came together to bring her home and wrap our hearts and hands around her now at the end of her battle. She wasn’t just someone she was our Vicky.
We are asking for donations on behalf of both Angela (her sister) and Myself for help to make that happen. We would like to lay her to rest with the respect and dignity she always was worthy of while celebrating her life with family and friends. We are asking of everyone who loved and cared for Vicky to please help us in doing so as this was very sudden and her father has just recently passed so having another funeral now is just a lot for the family both emotionally and financially. Let’s come together and bring Vicky home one last time ❤️
*once we have solidified a date for her service we will post that information as well THANK YOU ALL
