Help Bring June Home

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Vicente Colon Collazo (June), who left us on October 20, 2025. He suddenly became ill and passed away in the Dominican Republic, far from home and

his loved ones.

June was a happy, bubbly person who lit up every place he went. His laughter was contagious, his energy unforgettable, and his kindness genuine. He had a special way of making everyone feel seen and valued, which naturally drew people to him. June’s great sense of humor and his ability to make people laugh helped him form friendships wherever he went. He was always there for anyone in need, never hesitating to lend a helping hand whenever he could.

Unfortunately, June’s sudden passing has left our family heartbroken and unprepared for the financial challenges that come with transporting him back to Michigan. Now we are reaching out to June’s community of family and friends for a helping hand to support bringing June home to give him the farewell he deserves, surrounded by the people who loved him most.

Our goal is to raise $8,000 to cover the transportation of June’s remains to Michigan, the necessary permits, and funeral home expenses. We are deeply grateful for any contribution, no matter how small. Every donation helps us get closer to bringing June home.
