Unexpectedly we lost my Uncle Teddy on 02/08/21 here in Anchorage, Alaska. He suffered two heart attacks and sadly couldn’t recover due to an anoxic brain injury. Unfortunately we had to let him go...
Him and my Aunty Renee (his past wife) had raised me since I was a baby, I’m his niece but he considered me his baby and took care of me all throughout my life. As hard as it is to do I am asking for help to bring him home to Port Heiden so we can lay him to rest.
If you knew him you knew he was a happy, friendly, and giving kind of guy. He always helped anyone in need and took good care of his family. Everyone knew him as “Uncle Ted”. Even if he wasn’t your uncle that’s just what you called him because he treated everyone like family. He had many friends and loved to have a good time! He loved hunting, fishing, beach combing, dancing, visiting, being around family, and riding all of his toys (4-wheelers, snow machines, & his truck). He loved his hometown and everyone in it. He had a big heart and I don’t know what we’re going to do without him...
I got to be with him in his last hours, I held him & played his favorite songs until he took his last breath. He will truly be missed by everyone and we need prayers for comfort & healing right now more than ever.
Also, I want to say thank you to everyone who’s helped me and the family during this difficult time.
