UPDATE:
Much has happened over the last month!
We have a truly WONDERFUL cast and team! Joseph Vain is our fearless stage manager and will be running the board. Director Jesse Lowe has found new moments in the play that truly resonate. Dramaturg and doctoral student Sloan Garner is working as our intimacy coordinator, helping to ensure a safe and nurturing environment while we bring this work to life.
We have our Headless Horseman costume, and a custom computer monitor helmet (you’ll need to see this!); we have a light-up DJ jacket; and the Santa Line Engine costume is in the process of being built!
A huge thank you to everyone who has chipped in! If you are able, please consider sharing the link. We are very close to our goal!
Here is our truly talented and dedicated cast:
Jennie – Trinity Garretson
Simian/Central Electric (CE) – Bex Mackelprang
Deb/Santa Line – Arushi Raza
Dapper Dan/ Headless Horseman AKA ICM – Miles Bunch
Will/Jimmy – Case Kellum
Marigold/Johnny Appleseed – Cicely Osborne
My sincerest thanks to all involved in this Fringe-esque/Little Theatre experience!
Truly, no donation is too little!
I am excited to bring this play, TRACKS, to Winterville, Georgia. It is inspired by my teenage years in the Hudson Valley, when the economic reality was grim, but the myths around us kept most of us (sadly, not all) alive. (This is a good time to mention the play is a tragedy.) The production will be directed by Jesse Lowe and will run for two nights only at The Marigold in Winterville, Georgia. Details:
TRACKS will be produced at
The Marigold in Winterville, GA April 25-26, 2025.
Directed by Jesse Lowe.

It's 1998, and pill-popping siblings Jennie and Simian have a problem: their sacred spot by the Hudson River is about to be closed off by AmTrain for a proposed bullet from NYC to Albany. Lucky for them, Dapper Dan, the straight-edged kid in their group, will do anything for Jennie – inspire a letter writing campaign, get her drugs, anything. As they plan, anthropomorphic manifestations of mythical characters appear around them – the Headless Horseman who must now wear an old computer monitor on his shoulders; Johnny Appleseed, who fills a candy machine near the tracks with Apple Jim Jims; the Voice of The Boy That Died; etc.; - however, these figures remain unseen until tragedy strikes, as the misfits attempt to disrupt an oncoming train by any means necessary. Tracks reminds us that we all become mythical characters to those who look through the windows of a speeding passenger train as they imagine what life must be like under a Catskill moon
