What started as a family trip to experience India's rich culture turned into an unexpected rescue mission when we discovered three abandoned puppies in Goa.

Our Story
While exploring Goa, India we found three six-week-old puppies who had been dumped without their mother. They had recently lost one sibling and locals told us their chances of survival were slim. Without their mom to teach them and with distemper and parvo outbreaks in the area, these puppies faced almost certain death.

The situation grew more dire when we learned the place where they were found was being developed into a restaurant. Adding to the urgency, someone threatened to drown the puppies if they weren't removed. Since local shelters are at capacity, a kind woman on an extended visit is fostering them until mid-December. But if they don't have homes or travel plans secured by then, they'll be put back on the streets.

The Reality for Street Dogs in India
While many local organizations feed and sterilize street dogs, we learned a heartbreaking truth: these puppies have less than a 1% chance of finding homes in India due to the overwhelming number of dogs needing rescue. Street dogs face constant threats from disease, starvation, and mistreatment.

How You Can Help
We're raising funds to cover the costs of bringing these three puppies to America, where they have a real chance at finding loving forever homes. The process includes veterinary care, vaccinations, required testing, airline travel, and quarantine fees— which are approximately $4,000 per puppy.

As a lifelong animal lover, I couldn't walk away and simply hope for the best. Please consider donating to give these puppies the life they deserve. And if you're looking for a loyal companion, an Indie dog (Indian street dog) might be the perfect addition to your family!
