Hi friends, family, community, and compassionate humans,
I am raising funds specifically and exclusively to secure legal protection for a trailblazing app concept I have worked hard to bring to life. $6,000 for the provisional patent needed to legally protect the idea which includes professional prior-art research, consultation, and legal filing costs. Success in obtaining the provisional patent helps to bring something deeply meaningful to life- a powerful app concept designed to help neurodivergent people communicate more safely, more honestly, and with more emotional grounding during some of life’s hardest conversations.
This is something I wish had existed for me in some of the most painful and overwhelming moments of my life. It has the potential to support families, partners, parents, friends, and anyone who has ever struggled to find the right words when emotions are high and nervous systems are overwhelmed.
Before I can build it, share it publicly, or involve developers, I have to protect it legally. This isn’t a niche idea — it represents a massive, underserved population that has never been properly valued or supported by technology. This concept steps into a neglected space, breaks through long-standing barriers, and shatters a glass ceiling around emotional support tools that have never been given the investment, recognition, or development they deserve.
I’ve spent years living these realities, studying emotional behavior, navigating heartbreak and rebuilding my life, parenting through chaos, and learning how desperately people need support in communicating during intense emotional moments.
Why I Need Help-
As a single mom rebuilding life after an enormous emotional and financial upheaval, I simply do not have $6,000 available to cover this step alone.
Your support helps me:
-take this from dream to reality
-move forward safely
-open the door to development and funding
-protect something meaningful before sharing it with the world
How You Can Help-
-Donate if you can
-Share if you can’t donate
-Believe in this with me
Every dollar matters. Every share matters.
Every person who believes in this matters. If you know me, you know I don’t give up. You know how hard I fight to rebuild, to grow, to support others, and to turn pain into purpose. This is part of that purpose.
Thank you for helping me take this first real step forward.
With so much gratitude,
Kirstie Marie
