Help Bring Kisel Family to Safety from the War
Spende geschützt
Hi, my name is Tatyana. I immigrated to the United States two years ago, and I am organizing a fundraiser to help my parents, Andrei and Natasha, who are currently based in Odesa, Ukraine, to join me here in the United States.
The last six months have been especially difficult for my family. My father experienced a heart attack this summer which required him to undergo open-heart surgery as the bombing proceeded in Kyiv. A month later, he had a stroke as a complication. However, my dad made a tremendous recovery and I’m so proud of him. He is a fighter and loves life, even if it causes him so much pain.
As you know, things have been very tough in Ukraine. A few days ago, 100 Russian missiles damaged the infrastructure in all the regions, and now most people have no electricity, including my parents. They see and hear missiles outside their home regularly as their city is being bombed. This is not a safe living environment for anyone, let alone someone with my father’s condition.
Unfortunately, I am not financially stable right now to afford the expenses required to bring them here to safety. I would deeply appreciate your donation to help me make it happen. Your donation will cover airfare from Ukraine to San Francisco in December, the first three months of housing, and basic living expenses, such as food, phone, transportation, room essentials and prescriptions until they can get work permits. My parents need a safe environment to live and thrive in, and I need your help desperately. No donation is too little. Thank you so much!
