FAITH, ELI and ENOCH KIRK ARE HOME!!!

I'm a longtime friend of Tony, aka TK, and Debbie Kirk. I am starting this fundraiser for their son, Matt. In 2010, Matt went to China to teach and do mission work. There he met and married his love, Faith. In 2017, they were blessed with beautiful twin boys, Eli and Enoch. In 2018, Matt and his family came to the US so that he could receive medical care. After 1 year, Faith's visa expired, and she and the boys returned to China. There she began obtaining a green card and an immigration visa. In a lot of countries, including China, that is a lengthy, frustrating and expensive process. It is almost impossible to navigate all the requirements without legal aid. And then there was Covid. Finally, when she could resume the process, she was met with more delays. And, yes, they have talked to our representatives about help. Finally, after 5 long years, Faith, Eli, and Enoch were to return in the spring of 2024. Then in October. Now hoping to return in December, before the twins' passports expire.

During this time, Matt and Tony have each had multiple health issues, stressing them financially (and exhausting their caregiver, Debbie, emotionally and physically). They have also incurred debt from legal fees associated with the visa. Now there is the expense of airfare for Matt to fly to China and help Faith settle things, and airfare for him and his family to return to the US.

If you know this family, you love this family. And you also know, if there wasn't an urgent need, they would not let me ask. I set a goal of $12,000, but the Kirks have so many friends, and Tony has so many former students that this should be easy. Anything over will go toward debt and settling the family when they arrive. We can't speed up the process, but we can take away some worries so that Tony, Deb, and Matt can fully enjoy finally holding Faith, Eli and Enoch again.
