This vision for The Gathering Place For Women was born from my own healing journey with God.

Hi, I’m Becky. I’m a Christian author, Certified Life Coach, Certified Behavior Change Specialist, Certified Personal Trainer, and mental and emotional health advocate. But the credential I’m most proud of is simply being a Christian who is passionate about encouraging women to seek Jesus for help, hope, and healing.

For some time now, I’ve carried a dream of creating a physical space where women can come together, have real conversations, have fun, find encouragement, and be reminded of the hope we have in Christ.

Each year, God has continued to refine and perfect this dream, and The Gathering Place is the vision I currently feel led to pursue.

My goal is to raise $50,000 to help bring The Gathering Place to life.

I would love to establish it in Benson, North Carolina, but I am open to whatever God wants for this vision. I don't want to be so focused on a location that I miss where He is leading me.

This will be a for-profit business built around a faith-centered vision to create an uplifting and welcoming space where women can connect, heal, grow, dream, and be encouraged in their faith and everyday lives. My prayer is that every woman who walks through the doors leaves feeling encouraged, empowered, and inspired to be the woman God created her to be.

Some of the ways I currently envision God using The Gathering Place includes private focus booths, small-group gatherings, Bible studies, women's workshops (centered around healing, identity in Christ, confidence, purpose and more), micro events (centered around faith, fun, and celebrating womanhood), and private life coaching conversations with my clients.

This would look like:

Having three individual focus booths and one for small groups. These spaces will be available for affordable hourly rental, giving women a peaceful place to work, pray, study, meet virtually, or simply have a quiet moment. My thought behind having these booths is to provide a supportive environment where women can heal, learn, create, connect, and pursue new opportunities. Because sometimes, having access to a private workspace can make the difference between missing an important opportunity and confidently achieving a personal or professional goal.

A physical space where I can offer Christ-centered life coaching through Pain 2 Purpose to help women heal, grow, discover who they are in Christ, and move forward with purpose. My approach to coaching women is less like sitting across from a coach and more like two good friends having an honest conversation about life, faith, and everything in between. Coaching services and the sale of my books or digital courses will provide personal income for me as I serve the clients God entrusts me with.

Recurring Signature Women’s Events that my Pain 2 Purpose business will host that focusing on healing, identity, empowerment, and purpose. Ticket revenue will support Pain 2 Purpose, the business creating, hosting, and facilitating these experiences.

The Gathering Place will also be available for rent on select days and times for small events such as author gatherings, women’s workshops, baby showers, corporate meetings, and other events that align with the mission of encouraging and pouring into women. Revenue from space and event rentals will help cover the business’s ongoing operating expenses, keep the doors open, and allow me to continue creating affordable opportunities and investing back into the women of our community.

Another vision I have for The Gathering Place is to host a free monthly event called Christ, Coffee & Convos. Women can register for a free ticket to enjoy coffee, meaningful conversation, and community. I hope to partner with a local coffee shop that will offer a special rate for the coffee, which The Gathering Place will purchase for each registered attendee. Each month will feature a new theme inspired by Scripture, creating a welcoming space for women to connect, grow in their faith, and encourage one another.

But most importantly, I want The Gathering Place to be a space that God can use to serve women in our community in whatever ways He leads. I don't want to put Him in a box by deciding now what every opportunity will look like. I simply want to create a place that is available for Him to use.

Where will the $50,000 go?

Funds will help with:

Securing the space, including deposits and upfront lease costs

Furniture, furnishings, décor, and initial improvements

Security and safety systems

Technology and equipment

Insurance, licensing, and professional expenses

Signage, branding, marketing, and opening outreach

Initial operating expenses such as utilities, internet, cleaning, and supplies

Resources for Bible studies, gatherings, and community outreach

Working capital to help sustain the space during its early months

I know $50,000 is a big goal, but I'm not simply asking people to help me open a business. I'm asking you to help me create a place.

A place for community.

A place for conversation.

A place for Christ.

A place where women can come carrying something heavy and leave feeling a little lighter. A place where women can laugh, cry, pray, learn, connect, and remind one another that they don't have to do life alone.
