My name is Erin St Blaine, and I am the creator of the Dream Pavillion art installation. The Dream Pavillion is a magical space designed for festivals and parties, featuring beautifully carved LED benches, illuminated jellyfish hanging overhead, and an LED wall displaying ambient animations. It’s a place where people can stop, rest, and recharge, surrounded by beauty and creativity.
Recently, I hosted the Dream Pavillion at Pagan Bunny Burn, a fun community festival where I volunteered my art. While everyone enjoyed the installation, it came at a personal cost. Two of my LED nets broke, and my iPad—which is essential for running the software and beautiful animations—was damaged. The materials for the LED nets are expensive, and replacing the iPad is necessary to keep the installation running smoothly. I am raising funds to cover these costs, as well as to build more benches for upcoming community events. Each bench is cut on a CNC router, painted, varnished, and fitted with lights - they are quite labor intensive. I also need to purchase cushions to make the space even more comfortable. I plan to host a work weekend at Playa Maker Camp, inviting people to help finish the benches and be part of the creative process. Then, I’ll be showing the full installation at Unscruz, where the Dream Pavillion will be at its most immersive and magical.
With your support, I can repair and expand the Dream Pavillion, making the experience more immersive and magical for everyone. Having four working LED nets instead of two will transform the space, and a new iPad will allow me to run the beautiful videos and scenes that bring the installation to life. Thank you for helping me bring beauty and art to the community. Your generosity will create a VIP lounge where people can connect, relax, and experience the magic of art together.
