While on a hike Warden began panting very heavily and suddenly collapsed on the trail. After getting him to the car we noticed his tongue and throat were swollen and he had a compromised airway. Unable to cool himself down by panting, he began going into shock and we rushed him to the Emergency Veterinarian Hospital. He was diagnosed with a heat stroke. They let us know right away that he most likely would not make it through this. At this time Warden is still fighting for his life and the doctors say he is making great progress but he still needs continuous medical attention (more plasma and more nights in the hospital.) For those of you who don't know, my son is on the Autism spectrum and Warden is his best friend and he means the world to him!! If you can donate any small amount, even if its $5, it would be greatly appreciated! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Lets bring Warden home!!!!
