Our family is heartbroken after the sudden loss of my older sister, Tatiana Brogan, who passed away on Halloween while living in California. Tatiana was an animal lover, soft spoken and thoughtful, with a quiet sense of humor. She adored Hello Kitty, Naruto, and anime, and she was the smartest person I’ve ever known. She was my mother’s first baby, my best friend, our little sister’s first friend, and she loved our brother deeply. Her absence has left a hole in all of our lives.

We are trying to bring Tatiana home to Texas so our family can say goodbye and lay her to rest. The costs to embalm her, transport her from California, have a viewing, and cremate her are overwhelming. Our mother, Deidra, is a 100% disabled Navy veteran who has faced many challenges and was already struggling before Tatiana’s passing. This loss has been devastating for her, and she simply cannot cover these expenses on her own.

My siblings and I are doing everything we can to support each other and keep Tatiana’s memory alive. Not being able to see her or bring her home has made this even harder. Being able to have a final viewing and bring Tatiana back to Texas would be deeply healing for our family. Any support will help us honor her memory and give her the farewell she deserves.
