Help Us Honor the Life of Tammy with the Memorial She Deserves
On June 14th, just after midnight, our beloved mom, wife, sister, and friend Tammy passed away after a brave battle with a rare and aggressive cancer. She was deeply loved and known for her fierce devotion to her family, her unwavering faith in Jesus, and her gift for making everyone feel seen, cared for, and valued. She had a way of showing up—no matter what—always with compassion and grace.
Now, as we face the heartbreak of saying goodbye, we are committed to honoring Tammy’s life in a way that reflects how she lived—with love, dignity, and peace.
We are raising funds to help bring Tammy home to Minnesota, where a memorial service will be held at Nordland Lutheran Church- the church she grew up in, with deep family roots and generations of loved ones laid to rest there. This support will help cover:
- Cremation services in Florida
- Memorial service costs and related arrangements
- A shared headstone for Tammy and her husband, who plans to be buried beside her someday
- Urns for her husband Ron, children, and burial
- Flight and transportation for both her remains and Ron
Our initial fundraising goal is $5,000, to help meet the most urgent needs right away. The total estimated cost is $12,500, and we may adjust the goal as donations come in and expenses are finalized.
Tammy was a free spirit who loved to travel, explore, and embrace life’s little moments. Whether she was moving to a new place, planning a spontaneous adventure, or simply enjoying a quiet cup of tea with a cat on her lap, she brought warmth and wonder into every room she entered.
At her core, she lived to love. She prioritized her family above all else, offering constant support—through countless phone calls, home-cooked meals, planning, care packages, encouraging texts, and deep conversations. She made everyone feel safe, heard, and unconditionally loved.
