Help Bring Steve Home After Life-Changing Surgery

Dear friends, family, our wonderful community and kind- hearted strangers,

I’m reaching out on behalf of our dear friend Steve and his wife Deb, who many of you know as the heart and soul behind countless local events as our beloved DJs. For years, Steve and Deb have brought joy, music, and unforgettable memories to our community. Now, they need our help.

Recently, Steve underwent a spinal operation that, due to complications, has left him unable to walk. He has spent months in the hospital and Southport Spinal Unit bravely facing every challenge, but his journey is far from over. Steve is now unable to work, and the financial strain is overwhelming.

To bring Steve home safely and help him regain some independence, we urgently need to:

- Equip his home with essential accessibility modifications (such as ramps and bathroom adaptations)

- Purchase a new wheelchair suited to his needs

- Cover additional mobility and medical equipment

Steve and Deb have always been there for us—bringing people together, lifting spirits, and supporting the community through music. Now, it’s our turn to support them.
