Wilbert Joseph "Joe" Castaneda has dedicated nearly 20 years to protecting our freedoms as a highly decorated U.S. Navy Sailor who has completed multiple combat deployments as a Navy SEAL across several continents, putting his life on the line repeatedly so others wouldn't have to. He has served our country with unmatched courage, sacrifice, and honor.

Since August 2024, The State Department designated Wilbert as being held hostage in Venezuela under circumstances that are heartbreaking and unjust. His freedom has been stolen and so has his ability to provide for his family back home.

During this time, his financial obligations have fallen into critical jeopardy—through no fault of his own. Wilbert's family is now facing the terrifying reality of losing their home to foreclosure. Mortgage payments have fallen behind, and his hard-earned assets—everything he's worked for—are at risk of being stripped away while he remains in captivity.
