My name is Bryan, and I am working to bring a dream called SMOOCHES to life in Memphis, Tennessee.

SMOOCHES is being created as a restaurant, bar, nightclub, and live-entertainment destination — but my vision has always been about something much bigger than food, drinks, music, or a night out.

I want SMOOCHES to be a place where people come together.

A place where you can walk through the doors after a difficult week and, for a few hours, forget about everything weighing on you.

A place where you can celebrate a birthday, meet new friends, have dinner with people you love, enjoy a cocktail, watch an amazing show, dance, laugh until your stomach hurts, and leave feeling a little better than when you came in.

Most importantly, I want SMOOCHES to be a place where people feel welcome, seen, respected, and part of something.

Why SMOOCHES Matters to Me

Opening SMOOCHES isn't simply a business idea to me.

It is a dream.

I've spent countless hours imagining what this place could become — from the food and cocktails to the entertainment, atmosphere, employees, performers, special events, and those little details that make a place feel special.

But the part that means the most to me is imagining the people who will eventually fill the room.

I imagine tables full of friends laughing.

I imagine someone celebrating a birthday they'll remember for years.

I imagine performers stepping onto our stage and having another place in Memphis to showcase their talent.

I imagine new friendships starting over dinner or drinks.

I imagine employees finding jobs and opportunities.

I imagine someone walking into SMOOCHES alone and eventually realizing that they aren't alone anymore.

That's the kind of place I want to build.

Because sometimes a restaurant isn't just a restaurant.

Sometimes a bar isn't just a bar.

Sometimes the place where people eat, drink, laugh, dance, celebrate, and connect becomes part of the community itself.

That's what I want SMOOCHES to become.

Bringing People Together

Memphis is a city with incredible personality, music, food, entertainment, creativity, and people.

SMOOCHES will celebrate that energy.

Our goal is to create an environment where people from different backgrounds can sit beside one another, laugh together, enjoy great entertainment, and simply have a good time.

There is already so much in the world that separates people.

SMOOCHES is being built around what brings us together.

Food brings people together.

Music brings people together.

Laughter brings people together.

Celebration brings people together.

And sometimes all it takes is one welcoming place for strangers to eventually become friends.

I want SMOOCHES to be that place.

What Your Donation Will Help Build

Opening a restaurant, bar, and entertainment venue requires a tremendous amount of startup capital.

Our fundraising goal is $30,000, and every dollar raised will go toward helping get SMOOCHES closer to opening its doors.

Funds may help with:

- Kitchen and bar equipment

- Furniture and décor

- Stage, sound, and entertainment equipment

- Lighting

- Business signage

- Initial food and beverage inventory

- Opening supplies

- Licensing and startup expenses

- Marketing and grand-opening expenses

- Employee training and opening preparations

- Working capital needed to get through those critical first weeks of business

There will be unforgettable performances.

There will be memories created inside those walls that we can't even imagine yet.

But before any of that can happen, we have to build it.

And that's why I'm asking for your help.

You won't simply be helping open another bar or restaurant.
