The Neumann’s need your help
Hi Everyone, thank you for your time and attention.
As most of you know on October 27th, Skye’s mother unexpectedly passed away and left behind his two much younger sisters, Tatum (10) and Tamlyn (8) in South Africa.
Tate and Tam are in a temporary custody arrangement with Skye’s aunt and uncle, however they have 5 children of their own and Skye’s grandmother, who is recovering from breast cancer, lives with them as well. Skye’s uncle is the sole provider for 10 people at the moment and as a family, we just all agree the best place for the girls to be is in Skye’s care.
Skye and I have worked tirelessly since his Mom’s passing to explore options and found the best option is to have them attend a special school here in Jacksonville that is able to issue i20 forms and accept international students. Th schools available to us for this type of program are not only limited, but extremely expensive.
After reviewing the list of schools we were absolutely shocked to learn that the tuition was 10’s of thousands of dollars a year per student. Skye and I decided to move forward with the application process regardless of the price and to our surprise the girls have not only been accepted into the school but have been able to obtain the necessary visa to enter the United States!!
We have been fortunate enough to afford the cost of the visas, the plane tickets and the first semester of school, but honestly have no idea how we will proceed from here to cover the cost of their tuition so they can remain in the US.
As most of you know we have a child of our own (Kai) who is 18 months, and we have not announced publicly until now, that we are expecting our second baby in May.
We are scared but very excited for our family of 3 to soon be growing to a family of 6.
Its not easy to ask for help but we know this is what we have been called to do and are determined to provide a bright future for his siblings. We are certain that if we trust in our faith and in Gods plan he will continue to open doors and make the impossible, possible. Just as he has always done for us.
If donations aren’t possible, prayers and shares are much appreciated!
