What was suppost to be a short 2 night getaway to Portugal, has turned into a nightmare for Shereen.

At just 37 years old Shereen has unexpectedly suffered a stroke while away. She has been in a Portuguese hospital since Sunday 20th september and the doctors have advised she will need to remain hospitalized for at least another two weeks before she is stable enough to travel.

Because of her medical condition, Shereen cannot fly home on a standard commercial flight. She requires a specialized medical transfer back home to Scotland - a critical service that can cost upwards of £25000.

Back home, her 9 year old daughter Aria is waiting for her mum to come home. Every day apart is tough for both of them , but bringing Shereen home safely so she can be surrounded by family during her recovery is our top priority.
