Thank you for being here <3

I’m so excited to share that Linnea Scott and I are bringing our show Shell to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this August 1-24th for a full run at Zoo Southside Venues! This has been a shared dream of ours since we met almost 10 years ago, and we can’t believe the moment is now here in front of us. Working on this show has been one of the most rewarding, joyful, and challenging experiences and I am proud of us and our work.

The Edinburgh Fringe is the largest theater festival in the world, with over 3,000 shows performed each August. It’s a major opportunity for us to expand our creative network and build relationships with international professionals while sharing our work. Linnea and I have been working towards this goal for the last three years, developing the show at residencies, retreats, and premiering the first draft at the Denver Fringe Festival 2024. We are ready and excited for this next big step!

About the show:
Shell is a fantastical one person show that weaves between realities and awakens a wanting you may have forgotten was there. Hockey bro Andy is leading a new sex ed club to B(reak) R(eproductive) O(ppression). The Peanut in his hockey bag is hungry for your desires. And the performer beneath it all is cracking open. Part play, part interactive workshop, part unleashing, Shell confronts us with what we know and don’t know about our bodies, their power, and what happens when we truly ask for what we want. You can learn more here .

With just three months until we take off for Scotland, we’re focused on making this production the strongest version it can be! We are launching our crowdfunding campaign for $10,000 to help us get to Edinburgh. This would help us cover the costs of housing and flights for our team of four, venue fees, our Marketing and PR Firm, modest stipends for our artists, and costumes and props.

Any support you can offer goes a long way! And if you aren’t able to financially support - sharing, posting, and passing this along to anyone who could is a HUGE support as well. Stay tuned for announcements regarding our preview performance in July! <3
