Shawn passed away suddenly last night, and our hearts are broken. His heart couldn't be restarted, and he left us far too soon. Right now, Shawn is in California, while my parents and I are on the east coast. We need to retrieve his body from the Sacramento coroner's office by Tuesday, and this has all happened so quickly that we are struggling to manage the logistics and costs. My parents want nothing more than to bring their baby home, to see him one last time, and to lay him to final rest surrounded by family and love.

Shawn was an incredibly loving and unique individual who made an impression everywhere he went. He touched so many lives with his kindness and his spirit, and we want to honor him in the way he deserves. The funds raised will help us bring Shawn's remains home and cover the expenses of his final arrangements.
