Hi, I'm Samantha Maynard — curator, designer, and founder of Sensorium, as well as the creative director behind S.M. Productions and the ARTPOP installation series.

On May 28th, to mark the 7th anniversary of my independent practice, I officially launched this page in support of Sensorium: a sensorial sanctuary where immersive design, sustainability, and storytelling come together to reawaken how we live, create, and connect.

Why Sensorium?

Sensorium was born not out of defeat—but from a powerful awakening.

In 2018, I lost a close family member. Soon after, I woke up in an ICU following a life-altering accident. In the stillness of recovery, deeper questions surfaced—about how we heal, connect, and how our environments shape our ability to thrive.

In those in-between moments, a vision emerged:

What if there were spaces designed not just for function, but for flourishing?

A living sanctuary where creativity, wellness, and sustainability converge.

The Vision

This campaign marks the first milestone toward developing Sensorium as an architectural and cultural landmark. This long-term vision will evolve into a permanent, physical space built to nurture our senses, ideas, and collective well-being.
