Scooby is my beloved 9-year-old tan and cream pitbull and Labrador retriever mix. On April 10th, he escaped from our home and has been running from everyone who spots him, even from us, into the woods. He is very scared, and it’s clear that the only way we’ll be able to bring him home is by finding and safely trapping him. Every day without him has been incredibly hard, and our family misses him dearly.

We’ve learned about Trey Larson, an experienced drone-user who runs a successful pet recovery service. Trey’s thermal drone can help locate Scooby in the woods, but we simply can’t afford the costs right now. This service could make all the difference in bringing Scooby home safely. This experience has taught me so much about what to do when a pet goes missing, and I’m committed to sharing what I’ve learned with my community.
