Our restaurant family is heartbroken by the sudden and tragic loss of Santos, our cook and dear friend. After getting off work, Santos was riding a bicycle when Santos was tragically struck in an accident and did not survive. Santos was a hardworking and valued part of our team, and the loss has been devastating for everyone who knew Santos. Beyond the workplace, Santos was a major source of support for family in Guatemala who depended on that love, care, and financial help. Now, Santos’ family is facing unimaginable grief from thousands of miles away while also carrying the heavy burden of final arrangements.

This fundraiser is to help bring Santos home to Guatemala so family can say their final goodbyes and lay Santos to rest surrounded by loved ones. The funds will help cover the cost of transporting Santos’ remains, funeral and final expenses, and provide financial assistance to the family during this heartbreaking time. Please help if you can.
