Yesterday in South Padre Island, a tragic accident took the life of 27-year-old Santiago Tapia Bello, a hardworking husband and father. While cutting palm trees near Whataburger, he came into contact with an electrical wire and sadly passed away on the spot. His wife, Mileidi Vázquez Anastasio, has reached out asking for help to raise funds to transport her husband back to Mexico so his family can say their final goodbyes and lay him to rest in his hometown. We understand this is a heavy financial burden, but with the strength of our community, we can come together to support her during this difficult time. Ayer en South Padre Island, un trágico accidente le arrebató la vida a Santiago Tapia Bello, un esposo y padre trabajador de 27 años. Mientras cortaba palmas cerca de Whataburger, tuvo contacto con un cable eléctrico y lamentablemente falleció en el lugar.

Su esposa, Mileidi Vázquez Anastasio, se ha comunicado para pedir apoyo y recaudar fondos para poder trasladar a su esposo a México, donde su familia pueda darle el último adiós y darle descanso en su tierra natal.
