Help Us Bring Sammy Home to Germany
Dear friends, family, and kind strangers,
We are heartbroken to share that our beloved Sammy tragically passed away in Koh Samui, Thailand, on August 25th, 2025. During what was meant to be a peaceful time abroad, he unexpectedly left us far too soon.
We are now faced with the overwhelming task of arranging his funeral and transporting Sammy back home to Germany so we can say our final goodbyes surrounded by loved ones.
The total costs for repatriation, funeral services, legal paperwork, and travel expenses are far beyond what we can manage alone. We have received estimates of approximately between 5000 to 10000 EUR , which includes:
- Transport of Sammy's body from Koh Samui to Germany
- Funeral home and preparation services in Thailand
- Hospital bills
- Legal documentation and death certificates
- Flight and handling costs from Thailand to Germany
- Transport of Sammy's belongings to Germany
- Funeral home and preparation services in Germany
- Funeral Service and reception in Freiburg, Germany
