Recently, my significant other was taken into custody by ICE at his workplace. Luckily, I received a call from him before the detention occurred. It was a typical morning, with me shoveling snow with my son, when our world was turned upside down. He was a loving father, a supportive partner, and a dedicated worker. Having come to this country as a child with promises of a better life, he spent most of his life contributing to society as a legal resident and taxpayer. After five decades of building a life in the United States, he is now forced to start over in a country he hasn't seen in 50 years, just three years shy of retirement. Unfortunately, the system failed him and many others. We appreciate any help, and simply spreading the word would mean a great deal to us. Thank You
