Hi! I am Emma Goldstein, and I am the director and writer of the story Safe Haven. Safe Haven is a student made self funded short film created at Loyola Marymount University’s School of Film and Television. The film follows a young woman who is faced with an impossible question: is she ready to raise a child, or should someone else? This is not a story of judgment, but rather a look into the hardships countless women are forced to face every day. Safe Haven seeks to give voice to that reality with empathy and honesty.
As the creator of this story, your support directly allows me to bring my vision to life. Donations will go towards my production by helping set our scenes, build our team, and create quality that the story deserves. By contributing, you are supporting student filmmakers and helping amplify a story that needs to be told, a story that can be told about any woman, and one of the hardest choices she’ll have to face.
