A Miracle in Progress – Help Us Bring Ruslan Home

It has been over five months since our lives changed forever. In October 2024, while on a work trip, my husband, Ruslan, suffered a devastating brainstem stroke that left him in critical condition. The doctors gave little hope, suggesting he might never regain consciousness or function again. But Ruslan defied the odds. Despite all predictions, he continues to fight every single day, proving that miracles do happen when you refuse to give up.

These months in Ohio have been some of the hardest of our lives. We have faced countless setbacks, obstacles, and heartbreaking moments. The struggle to secure proper medical care, the emotional toll of being far from home, and the immense financial burden have tested us beyond words. But through it all, we never stopped believing. Ruslan’s condition is steadily improving—he is making progress, and that means everything. However, his recovery is far from over.

Now, we have amazing news: Ruslan has been accepted into a rehabilitation center in Florida! After months of searching and fighting for his right to proper care, we finally found a place where he can continue his journey toward recovery. The next step is bringing him home, but medical transportation is incredibly expensive, and our bills from these months in Ohio have only continued to grow.
