No solo perdí a una mujer bondadosa, sino también a quien era como una madre para mí. Diana fue una madre increíble, una abuela amorosa y una mujer que me enseñó el valor del trabajo duro, la bondad y lo que significa ser una buena persona.

Ella fue mi guía, mi apoyo y una de las personas más importantes en mi vida. Su pérdida me ha dejado un dolor indescriptible. Me siento completamente perdida sin ella.

Soy de Honduras, un pequeño país de Centroamérica. Mi tía y yo vinimos juntas a Estados Unidos con el sueño compartido de trabajar duro, construir una vida mejor y ayudar a mantener a nuestra familia. Trágicamente, ese sueño se hizo añicos de la manera más desgarradora.

La vida de mi tía fue arrebatada en un trágico acto de violencia doméstica. En un momento de crueldad inimaginable, su pareja la golpeó hasta la muerte. Nuestra familia nunca tuvo la oportunidad de despedirse.

Ahora me encuentro pidiendo ayuda en el momento más doloroso de mi vida. Las hijas de mi tía, su madre y nuestra familia en Honduras están de luto desde la distancia, sin poder verla ni abrazarla por última vez.

Estamos intentando traer a Diana de regreso a Honduras para que su familia pueda darle sepultura con la dignidad, el amor y la paz que merece. Merecen un lugar donde puedan visitarla, orar por ella y recordarla para siempre.

Humildemente les pido su ayuda. Cualquier donación, por pequeña que sea, ayudará a cubrir los gastos de transporte y funeral para que podamos traerla a casa.

Not only was a kind-hearted woman taken from this world, but I also lost the person who was like a mother to me. Diana was an incredible mother, a loving grandmother, and a woman who taught me the meaning of hard work, kindness, and what it means to be a good human being.

She was my guide, my support, and one of the most important people in my life. Losing her has left a pain that words cannot fully describe. I feel completely lost without her.

I am from Honduras, a small country in Central America. My aunt and I came to the United States together with a shared dream to work hard, build a better life, and help support our family. Tragically, that dream was shattered in the most heartbreaking way.

My aunt’s life was taken in a tragic act of domestic violence. In a moment of unimaginable cruelty, she was beaten to death by her partner. Our family never had the chance to say goodbye.

Now I find myself asking for help during the most painful moment of my life. My aunt’s daughters, her mother, and our family in Honduras are grieving from afar, unable to see her or hold her one last time.

We are trying to bring Diana back home to Honduras so her family can lay her to rest with the dignity, love, and peace she deserves. They deserve a place where they can visit her, pray for her, and remember her forever.
