Hello, I’m Onyi, a Nigerian-born artist and fashion designer living in Paris, alongside my sister Ebube, the co-founder of this dream.

We’re building something that’s been quietly growing in our hearts for years, long before we even believed it was possible:

ROZA UKPELI , a fashion suit born in Paris but rooted in the beauty, resilience, and rich creative heritage of Nigeria. This is not just another fashion brand , it’s a voice, a story, and a vision for fashion that dares to be both contemporary and soulful.

We just got accepted into a Paris fashion incubator, a rare opportunity offered only to a few emerging designers. This will be our first chance to bring the vision into full life and one that could change our future and story.

But we cannot take this step without support.,

In our very first week, we reached our first funding milestone, securing a coveted spot in a Paris-based fashion incubator, a rare opportunity for emerging designers. We’re so grateful.

Now, we step into the next phase: building our first studio space, sourcing fabrics, and beginning production of Roza Ukpeli’s debut garments. And for that, we still need your support.

Where We’ve Come From

We’ve poured everything we had into this, emotionally, financially, and spiritually. Ebube saved up from her own job in Lagos and gave everything to help me (Onyi) come study fashion in Paris. That love is stitched into every piece we create.

The graduate collection which birthed this chance for us was completely handmade. It deeply inspired by what it means to resist limitation and to create something lasting from almost nothing.

• It became a finalist at the Annuel Défilé LISAA Mode (Paris Fashion Week)

• It was featured in French fashion magazines for its bold reinterpretation of menswear

• It earned an invitation to present at the Palais Galliera, the official museum of fashion for the City of Paris (which also holds Chanel’s permanent archive ) in partnership with UAEMP, (October 2024)

And yet, this is still the beginning. What we’ve built with passion and sacrifice now needs structure and funding to grow.

Roza Ukpeli is about creating garments and objects that reimagine fashion storytelling — grounded in heritage, but full of wonder. Through this, we hope to tell stories that inspire people to look deeper, think freely, and embrace individuality.
