Help Bring Our Mom Home and Support Our Family
On February 19, our mom, Rosa Rodriguez, was stopped and detained by ICE while driving back to work. She was in her car when agents surrounded her at a stop sign and took her into custody. She is now being held in an immigration detention center in Louisiana.
Our mother is our only parent and the sole provider for our family. She has always worked tirelessly to support us and give us a better life. She came to the United States with hope and determination, and she has done everything she could to build a future for her children. She has no criminal record—she is a kind, honest, and hardworking person who has always done the right thing.
She pays taxes, pursued an education in a new country, learned a new language, and earned her associate’s degree—all while raising 3 kids and making sure we never went without. She has sacrificed so much so that we could have opportunities she never had.
Being separated from her has been incredibly painful. Every day without her has been difficult, and not being able to see or support her during this time has taken an emotional toll on our family. She has now been detained for over a month.
We are asking for help to cover legal fees and basic household expenses so we can maintain some stability during this time and do everything we can to bring our mom home.
Any support means more to us than we can express. Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for standing with our family.
