Hi everyone,

I'm creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my youngest brother Gabe and his girlfriend Kaylee, who are going through something no pet owner should ever have to face.

Yesterday, both of their dogs were shot in the chest. One of them managed to make it home, crying out in pain. The other was later found deceased in a neighbor’s driveway.

We don’t have many answers right now. We don’t know who did this or why. What we do know is that these were harmless, loving dogs, and our family is heartbroken trying to understand how anyone could do such a thing.

Rip, the surviving dog, is currently fighting for his life at waves vet hospital. He’s young, sweet, and full of life — and he doesn’t deserve this. His vitals are stable for now, but the next few days are critical. We are praying he pulls through so Gabe and Kaylee only have to grieve the loss of one dog, not both.
