For Sandy and Ricardo Montes

Sandy and Ricardo Montes are close friends of Steph, and right now their family is facing a heartbreaking and urgent situation. Ricardo has been married to an American for 21 years, but financial barriers have kept him from being able to complete his green card paperwork. Recently, while trying to get a 21-and-older bracelet at a rodeo using his Mexican ID, Ricardo was detained by ICE in front of his loved ones. What should have been an ordinary moment turned into a painful ordeal for Sandy and everyone who cares about him. No family should have to experience something like this, especially so publicly and so suddenly.

This fundraiser is to help Sandy and Ricardo with the travel and legal fees they now face as they try to get Ricardo home.
